Canterbury is known for its mix of grand Edwardian-style homes and luxury modern residences, with its tree-lined streets contributing to its temperate climate. However, like anywhere in Melbourne, it’s subject to extremes of weather, from summer heatwaves to chilling winter days.
At Australian Climate Systems, we supply and install quality air conditioning solutions for both new builds and older residences in Canterbury and the surrounding suburbs.
A reliable heating solution is essential on those overcast autumn and winter days when you just can’t get warm. Ducted heating distributes heat quickly and evenly throughout your whole home, making it a more comfortable solution than a standalone heater that leaves cold spots.
Reverse Cycle Systems: Enjoy Heating and Cooling in One: If you’re looking for a year-round solution, consider upgrading to ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling. These systems let you enjoy clean, filtered indoor air at the temperature of your choice. Get in touch with Australian Climate Systems today to book an installation for reverse cycle heating and cooling in Canterbury.
Install Add-On Cooling: Many older homes already have ducted heating. Set your space up for summer with energy-efficient add-on cooling for your Canterbury home. Depending on its design, we may be able to install this using your existing ductwork. Book a consultation with us to learn more!
If you’re thinking of renovating your older Canterbury home and incorporating a spacious open-plan layout, the right air conditioning will ensure consistent heating and cooling across the entire space.
Split Systems: A high-capacity split system that can evenly heat or cool large zones allows you greater control over your indoor climate. At Australian Climate Systems, we supply and install split systems from renowned brands like Daikin, Panasonic, and LG. Contact us to install a split system in Canterbury today!
Zoned Ducted Systems: A zoned ducted air conditioning system will evenly distribute warm or cool air across larger zones through discreet ceiling vents. Ideally, choose one with inverter technology, which adjusts its output according to what the room needs. This results in consistent temperatures and improved energy efficiency.
Ensuring your air conditioner is running as efficiently as possible benefits both the environment and your energy bill. We recommend:

“I had a few people coming from different companies to quote on the replacement of my mum's existing ducted heating system. I must say that Australian Climate systems sales who came to us was the most knowledgeable and he strongly recommended that we have the air return grille changed as per standard which the previous sales who came to my mum's premise didn't mention at all. Their installation worker came on schedule and worked with high efficiency. Satisfied customer.”
